The bigger battery on the X model is the difference maker — I get real play time now. Being full Windows means I can run Game Pass and everything else.
ASUS ROG Ally X showed up next day. Performance mode looks sharp on our TV. Controller feel is excellent out of the box. Wish a charger / extra cable had been included, otherwise solid.
Handheld / docked both work great for our setup. Transfer from the previous system was painless. Price at checkout matched what I saw on the deal banner.
